Ariadna "Awkward" Jacob
Editor in Chief, Senior Designer
As the founding and current editor-in-chief of Red Rope Reviews, Ariadna is responsible for setting the direction and strategy of the company. Working with the Red Rope team, Ariadna is in charge of the website, creative marketing, networking and overseeing the different aspects of Red Rope Reviews, LLC. She meets regularly with the top promoters and nightlife/venue executives. A self-taught web and graphic designer, Ariadna has worked for companies like KPBS, MeadsDurket Advertising, La Touraine INC, Elios Enterprises and The Witherby Downtown. She is the founder of Shocknar Industries, GreekLaundry.com, GreekWomenOfState.com and continues to lead Red Rope Reviews direction as editor-in-chief. Ariadna was born in Mexico City and speaks Spanish fluently. Red Rope Reviews began as a class project and took a turn for the best when we saw the potential of a future nightlife media company. The company wouldn't exsist if it weren't for friends with a similar dream and the people who supported us.

You’re just as likely to find me at a psychobilly show as you are to bump into me at a swanky club with a big-name DJ. I am the most monogamous flirt you’ll ever meet. I love my friends more than life itself but detest most of the general populace. I can write for any readership but haven’t read a book in years. I’m just as liable to be sitting at home on a Friday night watching Fight Club or Shawshank Redemption on the couch with my dog as I am to be stumbling down the street, cigarette to my lips, walking to my house as the sun rises. I love film but rarely watch movies.

Matt "I Run This" Gerold
Cheif Operating Officer
Matt grew up in Manhattan Beach surfing and playing sports like
basketball and volleyball. Living the life of a beach kid he taught surf
lessons and junior guards in his high school years. He attended San
Diego State University and graduated after four years with a bachelor's
degree in Public Administration. As Red Rope Review's Chief Operating
Officer, he is in charge of events, and day to day operations of the
company. He has invested all of his time and energy into making Red Rope
run smoothly and efficiently.
Gianni "GQ" Del Vecchio
As Chief Financial Officer
Gianni "GQ" Del Vecchio, or "GQ Gianni" is the "brain behind the
numbers" for Red Rope Reviews. As Chief Financial Officer, Gianni
joined Red Rope Reviews in March, 2007, and assisted greatly in all of
the financial aspects for RRR.
Gianni graduated from the prestigious University of California, San
Diego, in 2007 with a 3.6 GPA and BA in Economics, with a double minor
in Political Science and Marketing in 2007. In High School, Gianni
graduated in the top 1% of his class from Northwood High School in 2003.
Gianni entered the nightlife scene through SFiNX Productions in late
2005, where he learned a great deal about the nightclub industry,
nightlife, and marketing. He served as Director of Internet Marketing
until November 2007. Gianni also worked as a Sales Representative for
Skinnie Entertainment Magazine, Marketing Director for UCSD Campus for
both Rockstar and Monster Energy Drinks, and held the coveted Head Rep
position for SWAT (Summer Winter Action Tours) for 2 years at UCSD,
greatly increasing the success of SWAT Spring Break and Winter Break
trips.
Gianni also interned at Smith Barney under the First Vice President of
the Downtown La Jolla Branch. He met Matt, Ari, & Jason through the
industry, and together combined forces to form Red Rope Reviews. He
Met Scott through several similar marketing internships that Scott
held at SDSU. Scott and Gianni were the "go-to" guys for many
marketing job opportunities at their respective schools because of
their enormous presence on campus.
The combination of Marketing and Economic/Finance experience that
Gianni holds is a very important fusion with the new nightlife,
marketing, and industry demands. As such, Gianni has been a great
overall addition to the Red Rope Reviews team.
Gianni now pursues Red Rope Reviews full time.
